All actual information about COVID-19 (prevention, statistics, symptoms and more) you can find on WHO website and in Google feed.

2019 divided the history of most countries into «before» and «after». We are talking about a pandemic that has swept the whole world. The SARS-CoV-2 virus was first identified among residents of Hubei province (China). In just a few months, a disease called Covid-19 has spread to the inhabitants of the entire planet. Poland and Hong Kong were not an exception.

Why is covid so dangerous? Regardless of the level of development of a particular state, medical care and other factors, millions of people have become victims of the coronavirus. According to the latest data, this figure is 197 825 118 people, among the total — 4 216 780 deaths. The main symptoms of the disease are: shortness of breath, high fever, dry cough, loss of taste and smell. The world’s leading countries have developed or are working on the production of their own vaccines that protect against COVID-19. Naturally, vaccination is not a 100% guarantee of protection against coronavirus, however, when infected, the disease is transferred much easier.

According to current data (statistics for Sunday, 1 August 2021), the number of cases in Hong Kong is 11 988 people, total deaths are 212, and 61 are sick right now. Such statistics forced the government of the state of Hong Kong to impose certain restrictions on flights and border crossing.

For more information about the conditions of entry, read the official sources of the government: https://www.timeout.com/hong-kong/things-to-do/things-you-need-to-know-about-hong-kongs-social-distancing-restrictions
  2. Availability of the test: All arrivals from high-risk countries will be required to present negative COVID-19 test results, no older than 72 hours

All countries are divided into 3 main categories by the Ministry of Health:

  • «Green» (low rate of spread of coronavirus)
  • «Orange» (average rate of spread of coronavirus)
  • «Red» (high rate of spread of coronavirus)

In this regard, the government acts in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Association. The distribution of states into separate categories is updated regularly. At the moment, Poland ranks among the states of the «Orange» category.

The main reasons for the introduction of new restrictions are coronavirus mutations, an increase in the number of cases, and insufficient vaccination rates.

This rule also applies to cinemas, performance venues, theme parks, and museums; otherwise, the number of persons to be allowed would be maintained at the current levels.Starting July 30, cruise ships can begin the 'cruise to nowhere' voyage as long as all passengers and crew members are fully vaccinated. Gathering restrictions will remain at a four-person limit, but if you’re taking pictures with your family and friends during events or group activities, it’s ok to huddle with more people as long as everyone is wearing masks, but remember to disperse again once the photo session is over.According to the authorities, restrictions could be further relaxed if more people get vaccinated to achieve herd immunity against Covid-19.Gathering restrictions will remain at four people in public until further notice. If people are caught gathering in groups of more than the permitted number, there will be a fine of $ 25,000 and imprisonment for six months for 'any person who participates in a prohibited group gathering; organises a prohibited group gathering; owns, controls or operates the place of the gathering; and knowingly allows the gathering.' If you are caught violating the mask-wearing regulations, you will get a maximum fine of $ 10,000. Fully vaccinated fitness coaches and their students can be exempted from wearing masks during exercise classes, and the same goes for theme park performers who perform outdoors and people using indoor sports premises where all staff and users have been fully vaccinated.Under the relaxed regulations for the vaccine bubble, the maximum number of participants allowed for religious activities (where no food or drink is served, except as part of a religious ritual), wedding ceremonies, and business meetings are increased by 50 percent based on the normal capacity of the premises where it is held. If all attendees have received at least the first dose of the vaccine, the maximum number of attendants can be increased to full capacity.Local tours will be allowed up to 100 attendees if two-thirds of the participants already received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. Those who can’t comply can limit the tour groups to 30 persons.Restaurants, along with gyms, hotels, cinemas, and other scheduled venues, are required to display QR codes for the LeaveHomeSafe mobile app, which records your whereabouts and checks whether you have visited any venues as a Covid-19 patient at the same time.
